Connection & Communication Workshop

Developing a mindful approach to working with horses through liberty, bonding rituals, leadership and energy

This 2-day workshop is for those who seek to better understand their horse so that they can have a better relationship, conversation and harmonious partnership.

Learn About the Motivation of Relationships

Relationships motivate people and horses to do their best. Because horses and humans are relationship-oriented both seek approval and most of all both want to belong. These are natural characteristics of any socialized species and what ultimately motivates all of us to do our best and want to work together – another word for willing partnership which is what we seek when working with our horses.

The Power of Communication and Connection

Caroline is a master horsewoman and relationship specialist. She not only knows horses, she knows people and best of all she knows how to help both horses and people have a better relationship and enjoyable working partnerships. This workshop is an extension of Caroline Beste's Intuitive Workshop and where you will learn how to read, understand and communicate with your horse through the power of mind-body-heart connection, alignment and synergy. This way of Being, interacting and connecting to another, is called Chakra Conscious®. Please click here for details.

This style of clinic offers multiple one-on-one sessions a day with you and your horse and in an intimate group setting. This clinic format is designed to maximize your time, with one-on-one coaching with Caroline, while enjoying a friendly, relaxed community of like-mind.

While we recommend bringing your own horse to this workshop so Caroline can work on developing the relationship between you and your horse, we offer horses to lease at the Tao of Horsemanship facility should you not be able to bring your own.

What's Included in a Clinic?

Caroline's teaching style includes outdoor classroom time where she covers the principles, theory, science and experience of the material covered in the clinic course. Handouts and videos may be used to further explain the material being covered.

Group Instruction
Caroline keeps her clinics small, ranging from 4-6 students.  Students will experience the benefits of community, group and personal immersion and one-on-one coaching and instruction with Caroline.

Private Instruction
One-on-one coaching is provided throughout the group clinic.

Caroline demonstrates, how the exercise should look, with either one of her horses or a student’s horse. This helps to train the student’s eye so they know what to work towards.

Simulation Exercises
Simulation exercises provide an opportunity to practice skills with each other, building competence and confidence.

Group discussions are important to the learning process and encourage students to share in experiences. Caroline will bring up certain aspects of the work and learning process throughout the group instruction, promoting group discussion.

Study Guides
All but the Private Lesson clinic come with study guides or workbooks.

Daily Itinerary

Clinics begin 9am sharp in designated area and run until 5pm, with a 1-2 hour lunch break. Caroline gives a lot of information and problem-solving tips throughout the day and recommends brining a notebook for classroom time and for taking notes in general.
